Our story
About Impact Automotive
Impact Automotive is a Vallejo repair shop built around one mechanic doing the work right: Tasso. Customers come to us because we tell them what matters most first, not what pads the bill, and we stick around to keep their cars running for years afterward.
We take on jobs other shops turn away, including engine replacements and performance work like supercharger installs, and we will work with parts customers supply themselves. Whether it is an aging Lincoln that needs to keep going or a supercharged import that needs a careful hand, we treat every car like it is ours.
We are known around Vallejo for being direct, fair on price, and easy to talk to, the kind of shop people keep coming back to for years.
- Straightforward, honest pricing
- Engine replacements and performance work
- Customer-supplied parts welcome
- All makes, including imports
What customers say
“Tasso at Impact Automotive will not push you around for more money. He will tell you what's most important first and go from there. He's been my mechanic for years and I seriously don't trust anyone else. He is an honest, caring and an absolutely understanding mechanic!”
“After having trouble finding a good shop in Vallejo to work on my Supercharged Audi, I stumbled upon Tasso and his Impact Auto garage. They not only took on the task of replacing my engine and reinstalling my supercharger for a great price, but they completed the job in under 5 days, which was the estimated time Tasso gave me. I even supplied most of the parts, which most shops don't allow.”
“My Lincoln is 19 years old and keeps on going thanks to Tasso. I have had him fix different issues over the past 5 years and he has always been quick and with a fair price.”
